Gatsby was introduced to Furry Pawz & Clawz Pet Salon September 2013. He was a rescue from a puppy mill and Cheryl, a loving parent adopted Gatsby from a Brooklyn shelter. At first he was very timid and frightened by loud sounds, people and other pets. Cheryl’s main reason for bringing him for daycare was to have him socialized.

Over the past few months we have seen major improvements with his behavior and we can gladly say that Gatsby has become part of the Furry Pawz family. Every morning Gatsby looks forward to greeting the staff and clients. He has come a long way and will only continue to improve.

We are honored to know that we have been apart of Gatsby’s journey in becoming a sociable pup. Gatsby has an amazing personality, he loves to escort all dogs to the back of the salon for their grooming, he is very affectionate, knows how to fetch, and loves his hair being blown from the back of the vacuum. Gatsby is one lucky pup and Cheryl is the reason for it.
